Svetitskhoveli – XI century cathedral church, unique monument of Georgian traditional architecture,
which is included in the list of UNESCO world heritage. In Svetitskhoveli there are buried robe of jesus
and mantle of saint elia the prophet. Nowadays church is one of the most important attraction for tourists.

Nariyala fortress – fortress of shuri, built in IV century, this fortress was last time restored in XVII century
by Rostom king.From the Nariyala fortress there is beautiful view of the old districts of Tbilisi. The castle is a
sample of old Georgian architecture and it looks like a crown on Tbilisi.

Rabati Fortress – located in the historic corner of Georgia – Samtskhe Javakheti. In the Middle
Ages was the residence of governors of meskheti. It contains the monuments of Islamic and
Christian culture. In 2011-2012, the last restoration was completed. The Museum of Rabati
preserves more than 25 000 exhibits.

Svan Towers – Defense building of feudal age of georgia, 5 or 6-storey towers of 20-25 meters
high. The Svan Towers represent UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In 2011, it was awarded in
International Architecture in stone competition with the prize “Folk Architecture”.

Tushetian Towers – Tusheti is the largest protected area in Europe. The village Zemo Omalo is declared
an architectural reserve. There even Each stone has its own history. Tushhetian towers were a
surveillance place and shelter from the attacks of Chechens and Dagestan. Nowadays Ensemble
“Keselo” is a masterpiece of Georgianmountain architecture.

Georgian Traditional Hall style houses – where all residential and agricultural
housings(hall,oda,bovel,stable,bakery,storage,wine cellar and other) were horizontally placed under one
ceiling.Main hall consisted of “kera” and two main pillars.Similar architectural houses belong to XVI-XVII
centuries.Generally teritory of meskheti was inhabitrd since bronze age,unfortunately old houses are not
preserved.
