Legend about Georgia – After creation of the universe, God has gathered all nations and decided to
assign them countries. At this meeting Georgians were late, because at that time they glorified God and
were drinking his toast. When they came to God, God told them that he had already assigned world. The
Georgians told the reason, that they were delayed because of his glorifing toast. After god has listened,
he told them that they would be live on his own kept land from now on. That's how the Georgians settled
in the small part of Paradise that God gave them. After telling this legend, we should note that our land is
exactly what God has promised us that our country is a small paradise, with beautiful nature: mountains,
sea, and so on. With great land, location and most importantly, people with our hospitality, all the guests
are rewarded by God for the Georgians, in which they will be convinced during the trip.

Myth of Amiran – According to legend amirani was the son of hunting goddess – golden hair Dali. Dali
fell in love with mortal human – Darjalani and refused to being goddess. Brave hunter had terribly jealous
and evil wife. She easily found the place of couple and silently went to sleeping woman and cut her
golden hair. Darjalani was angry at his wife and he has not returned to goddess since then. Dali was
pregnant with the hunter, with losing her hair she lost her powers too and had not ability to give birth. The
Kind hunter “sulkalmakh” had heard her screaming and went to her. Dali told her story to hunter and
asked him to cut his belly with a diamond knife and take the baby away, if baby was boy he would be
called amirani, after taking baby from belly, baby had to be in the stomach of cow for 3 months and
another 3 months in Taurus stomach. After this hunter had to lay baby in golden cradle and place the
cradle on the stream of Iaman. His Baptizer would come there and baptize him. The worried hunter was
refusing at first but goddess convinced him. Woman had baby like sun, which was called amirani.
Sulkalmakh performed al the tasks and left amirani in golden cradle on the steam of Iaman. Every people
asked him about his parents and baptizer but amirani answered that he did not know about his parents
and his baptizer was god. During this time god has walked down the streamed and asked him the same.
After listening answer he really baptized amirani and gave him hardness of avalanche, strength of 12
oxes, knee of wolf, miserability in childhood,war in manhood and gave him a diamond dagger and told
him to only use it in extreme hardship. Then blessed and told that there is no one that could beat him.
Iaman took him and grew him up with his two sons : badri and usip. Children soon became orphans and
brothers grew up in extreme hardship. Amirani did many heroic things: released sun from stomach of
whale monster, killed bakbak-devi, destroyed kingdom of nine devi brothers, he took this bride from the
sky – the daughter of cloud lord yamari, killed evil woman-ox. At last he decided to beat god, therefore
god punished him and put her on Caucasus ridge with chains

Legend of Argonauts – the main heroes of the legend Jason and Medea. Jason was the son of Yelkos
and the legitimate king Ezon. His half-brother pelias pulled him out of the throne and put him in prison,
while Jason was in her mother's womb. When Jason was born, the wife of Ezon convinced Pelias that the
baby was dead, and in real she managed baby to escape from castle. Jason was raised up by centaur
chiron. When he grew up he returned to Yelkos to get his throne back. Pelias accepted to give him
throne if Jason could accomplish one very hard task: get the golden fleece from the kingdom of Colchis
king Aeti. Fleece was hanging on tree and always sober serpent protected it. Jason accepted this
challenge and along with the 50 best Greek men and sailed to colchis with ship named “argo”. After
passing many obstacles in the way argo came to the banks of Colchis. King Aeti was ready to give him
golden fleece to Jason, if he could complete impossible task: he had to put two fire breathing oxes under
the yoke, plow the meadow and plant teeth of serpent. For completing these tasks, Medea who is the
strongest wizard helped him, who had been fallen in love with Jason. Medea gave Jason magic potion,
which protected him from fire breathing oxes, so jason managed to plow meadow, unfortunately Aeti was
not going to give golden fleece to someone from Colchis and broke the promise with Jason. Medea
helped Jason again, told him way to fleece and gave him potion to get serpent to sleep. Argonauts sailed
to Yelkos but ships of Aeti blocked their way. Medea’s cleverness still won: she sent a message to his
brother, Apsirthe, as if she was kidnaped and asked him to go to designated islands to free her. When
Apsirthe went to island , Medea killed him, split his body and threw in the sea. She knew that before Aeti
would have been involved in collecting his son’s body, Jason would have time to escape.
